That simplicity is deliberate. Instead of choosing between view-only, edit, or copy access for each recipient, you just decide who gets the link. For most classroom and team use cases, that's the only decision that actually matters.

Sharing Individual Quizzes

Sharing an individual quiz is quick. Generate the quiz, then copy the link PDFQuiz creates for it. Distribute that link through any channel, email, a learning management system, a class website, or a chat app. There's no invitation flow or recipient list to manage; whoever has the link has access.

There's currently no way to set an expiration date, a password, or a usage limit on a link. If a quiz needs to stop being accessible, the practical option today is to generate a fresh quiz for the next group instead of reusing the old link.

Sharing with a Team

PDFQuiz doesn't have a shared team library or workspace where a department's quizzes live in one place. Each account keeps its own quizzes, and sharing between teachers means sending links the same way you'd send them to students, through whatever channel your team already uses: a shared drive, a group chat, or a course page.

In practice, teams that share quiz banks tend to keep a simple running list of links, one row per quiz, in a shared document. It's less structured than a dedicated library, but it works with a tool that's intentionally just a quiz generator plus a link.

Since a shared link always points at the live version of a quiz, quality control comes down to reviewing the questions yourself before you send the link out. The quiz export tool lets you check and print a copy for review before it reaches students.

If a shared quiz needs a correction, edit it directly and the same link serves the corrected version to anyone who opens it afterward. There's no separate approval step or moderator role involved.

Tracking Who Took a Shared Quiz

As students or colleagues complete a shared quiz, their attempts and scores appear in your dashboard through the quiz analytics tool, so you can see who finished and how they did without collecting anything by hand.

If a class hasn't started a shared practice quiz yet, that shows up the same way, as an attempt that simply hasn't happened, which is a useful signal for a reminder before a deadline.

Access and Privacy

Anyone with a shared link can take that quiz; there's currently no password, expiration date, or domain restriction to add on top of the link itself. If a quiz shouldn't be reused after a term ends, the simplest approach is to generate a new quiz for the next class rather than keep sharing the old link.

Students taking a shared quiz don't see other students' answers or scores, only their own results appear to them after they submit.
