Most major quiz apps do let you import questions in bulk, but almost none of them read a PDF or Word file directly. The common input is a spreadsheet or a block of pasted text arranged to the app's template, so the real work is turning your source document into a clean, formatted question set first. Kahoot, Quizizz (now Wayground), Quizlet, and the major learning-management systems all accept bulk imports; Google Forms needs a helper script; and only a few tools read a raw document. Knowing which is which saves you from typing questions in one at a time.

Kahoot and Wayground both take a spreadsheet, and both are strict about it. Kahoot's template caps a question at 95 characters and each answer at 60, allows two to four options, and wants the correct answer marked by its option number. Wayground reads plain text only and allows a single image per question. Fill the template, keep the text plain, and the import maps each row to a question. Quizlet does not use a file at all. Its Import tool reads pasted text where each card is a term and a definition, and you choose the separators, a tab between term and definition and a new line between cards being the safest pairing. Google Forms is the odd one out. Across every app, the bottleneck is the same: writing and reviewing the questions. Bulk import solves the loading, not the authoring. So the highest-leverage move is to generate the questions once from your source, review them, and keep them as a plain-text master.
